The Table Turns: Morris Lapidus My Home presented artwork and furniture by Lapidus at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach. World Red Eye’s coverage dates the gathering to December 4, 2023 and identifies The Bass as the hotel’s partner for that exhibition.
The Morris Lapidus Foundation also identifies The Table Turns as the 2023 debut of the monumental Lapidus Egg. A familiar architectural legacy was being encountered through objects, art and personal expression.

The conversation stays open.
Docomomo US listed the Ritz-Carlton exhibition in its 2024 National Symposium program, noting that it was extended two weeks to remain open for symposium visitors.
A new form. The same creative thread.
The Foundation invited artist KEF! (Simon Röhlen) to reinterpret the Lapidus Egg. Its account connects that work with Lapidus’s legacy and the possibilities of Lincoln Road’s public spaces.
At the Sagamore’s December 6, 2025 Art Week brunch, The Orb of Harmony was unveiled. BELLA’s event report credits KEF!, Sobe Sky Development, the Morris Lapidus Foundation and BitBasel. That collaboration places contemporary art in conversation with Lapidus’s enduring influence.
